This beautiful engraved buckle was for Dan. The 1½ inch Taos is a buckle that Neil has wanted to engrave for a long time. He was anxious to work with the slightly bigger canvas that the larger Taos buckle provides, yet within the relative constraints of the buckle shape. This design turned out just exquisite.

Dan really liked some of Neil's earlier engraved buckles from 2001 and 2002, and Neil made an updated design based on that. The entanglement of scrolls is quite complex and a treat to study.
