Neil enjoys doing small pieces in between bigger projects and this attractive, hand engraved stainless steel money clip is one example. He has been exploring the rose-and-scroll-style design for a while now, and feels it's a nice exercise in keeping things tight and organized. This particular one is classic rose and scroll, with the center oval space engraved with roses and rosebuds. He enjoys small canvases, perhaps partly because it challenges him to create a beautiful design within the small space. Maybe it's akin to expressing oneself succinctly in speech or writing.

Engraving in stainless steel is different than engraving in sterling silver, and Neil also enjoys getting in some steel practice once in a while. The back of the money clip is plain, un-engraved.
