"Time to Go" was inspired by one of Neil's many walks in the woods in our area. It was a beautiful, warm summer day and he was walking by himself on a nice trail, so he decided to take his shoes off and go barefoot. He noticed a small critter jumped up on the shadowy side of a tree trunk close by. After stopping and studying it for a bit, he suddenly recognized it was black bear cub. Realizing right away that the mama bear must be close by, he backed up as quickly and quietly as he could, wishing he had his shoes on... He made it out safely, but now he keeps his shoes on when he walks in the woods no matter how nice a day, or how inviting the trail.

The bear cub on the tree trunk is looking at you, and the mama bear knows you're there, too. So, it's time to go.

The bears are enjoying blueberries, detailed in the large box at the bottom, left. The rectangular frame with the leaf scroll surrounding the whole image is a nice contrast to the natural scene. The engraving is done in banknote style.

"Time to Go" is hand-pulled from a hand engraved steel plate and will be printed in a limited edition of 200. Actual size of printed image only is 3 3/16" x just shy of 2" (8.1cm x 5cm). Each print is available un-framed or matted and framed, and is conservation mounted. The frame size is 12 3/8" W x 11" H (31cm x 28cm).

Un-framed prints are mounted on acid-free foam-board protected by an acid-free plastic sleeve.
