Dakota Prairie 4-piece Ranger Belt Buckle Set in Sterling Silver only

The 4-piece lost-wax-cast Dakota Prairie "Ringneck Pheasant" set is the first in the 2004 annual edition. It is named for the National Grasslands in South Dakota by the same name, where the beautiful Ringneck Pheasants are plentiful.

This is a ¾" (19mm) wide ranger buckle set that works well on a 1 1/8" (29mm) or wider ranger strap, or on a tapered strap.

The background on this set is kept lighter than on most of Neil's buckles by recessing it (carving it out) without texturing it using hatching or cross-hatching. Neil wanted the lighter feeling of the prairie, with the wide-open spaces and the big sky.

The Dakota Prairie is available in sterling silver with 14K gold overlay, or in sterling silver only.
